Inspired by the work of Robert Dudzic featured at NAMM2020, I wanted to try something similar for my often used foley sounds. There isn’t TOO much room left over in the work space, so I had to be conservative in my approach in size and what could fit in a small area. Some screws and a few trips to home depot , and the terrorsquare was born. At first, this was only intended for keeping a source for foley and sound effects, after some experiments I found this thing to be absolutely terrifying. Shockingly expressive, this monstrosity delivers a cold, resonant sound – perfect for metallic scrapes, horror filled drones, and the subtle creaks of interaction with every day objects.
